Event Details

• WhenFebruary 1 - March 31, 2023

Goal - Qualify for the Big Indoor Shootout on April 16th to be held here in Kelowna, Ontario, and Red Deer. 

The Shootout is an official event where hitters earn points towards team Canada qualification.

Qualifying dates are Feb and March 2023 (8 weeks).
 

• Potential hitters book time at our facility as normal.  
• Hitters with a qualifying drive simply take a screenshot and message it to ALD with their name and contact info. The minimum  qualifying drives per age division are listed in a chart on the ALD website . https://www.aldcanada.com/divisions/
• The 2 longest drives per division will be selected each week.
• If a hitter does not qualify in one week they can try again the following week. Once qualified they don't have to submit again and they then pay the entry fees to enter the Big Indoor Shootout here on April 23rd, 2023
• In order to qualify all hitters must be members of Amateur Long Drive Canada by paying a one time membership fee of $100. Memberships expire at the end of the year.
•  ALD Canada will pay cash prizes for divisions of more than 4 hitters. The amount of cash paid will vary based on funds raised and # of entries and will be made public prior to event start.
